Responsible for planning and executing research project “Integrating Autonomous Load Controllers in Power Distribution Systems”. Lead instructor for the course “Hands-on Microcontroller Programming”, adviser to bachelor and masters student projects, reviewer for conference and journal papers. Co-authored successful project funding proposal “Energy Savings by Voltage Management”. Collaborated with researchers at the Pacific Northwest National Lab, USA on simulation of load controllers.

Responsible for development of software (GUI as well as low-level SW) for touch-screen conference microphone system. Reviewed and elaborated upon product requirements.

Responsible for low-level software development for a residential broadband gateway. Participated in hardware bring up and verification in cooperation with hardware engineers.

Designed, implemented, documented, and tested hardware abstraction layer for integrated circuit used in a core optical network switch.

Created a mobile internet (WAP) interface for a vehicle tracking system. Created a Windows NT COM object for web-based vehicle routing system.

Developed a client/server database application in Java as part of an international team. Implemented parts of the user interface, in addition to writing components of the server.
